I have had chronic dry skin my whole life. Since I've been using your Oatmeal & Honey soap, my skin feels cleaner, less itchy and no more white flakes and rough elbows. I've never had skin this great. Your soaps lasts long, smells great and works better than dozens of other store bought and homemade soaps. My son has been using it on his acne with great results too. Send me anothe six months supply, please!

We had a good summer. I need more soaps! I have had several requests for the tea soaps. And the Wild Roses & Blueberries soap sold well, and the Boreal Forest soap. Tzeporah Berman of Forest Ethics bought all the Boreal Forest soap to give to the sponsors of her program to save the boreal forest. She may be in touch with you to get more. Also we had a group of cyclists come through and I needed something local to put in their gift bags so I gave them each a Lale of the Woods soap. They were very impressed!

Having never really tested your products before, I was delighted at how well they work and I feel like I've been sold a bill of goods by the cleaning products industry. The furniture polish worked especially well...our lamp tables are still shining. No more Pledge EVER!

I was in Kenora last weekend and bought a bar of your soap from The Bookstore in Kenora. I never ever buy soap. I've used Mary Kay scentless soap for as long as I can remember but I was staying with a friend who had your bars in every bathroom, I was so delighted by how they felt I had to get my own. I bought the Oatmeal & Honey bar and I'm pretty tickled. Just wanted to tell you I love it and that it's a good reason to return to Kenora when it's starting to run out. Will also tell everyone I know about your bars.

Hello, I purchased a bar of Black Bear Point while shoppoing at the Blue Heron in May. Since you make it exclusively for the Blue Heron, am I unable to order it from you? Is there something very similar you could recommend? I love the stuff!

Thanks for the great recipes for green cleaning in Harrowsmith. I switched to vinegar/borax/baking soda about a year ago and never looked back. Not only is better for the environment, but better for my hands and nails when I clean. I've never been one to use rubber gloves when I clean-or if I did, some of the chemicals would always run into the gloves and stay there while I cleaned. My skin would always be so dry after I finished cleaning...Anyways, thanks again for getting those recipes out there.

I have been unable to find a lip balm suitable for me for several years. i always get an allergic reacion to the chemicals and synthetics in other lip balms. I am extremely pleased to have found your Lip Balm. I use it all the time. It's fantastic. 5 stars!

Homemade Soap
I don't make it (homemade soap) though there are recipes available either in books or a few reliable ones online, such as Whitney Allen's tried and true recipe for soap.
So why is this my cup of tea? I look losely at all toxins that surround us every day. I made some drastic changes in the products I use, from the soap and personal care products up to and including everything I use (and no longer use) in my home and garden.
I first found a true homemade soap, free of all toxins, chemiclals, dyes and perfumes at Lake of the Woods Sunrise Soap Co. and highly recommend all their products. I fell in love with this wonderfully natural product and the accompanying clean scent. I ordered it for not only is it safe for my skin but it's far better for the environment. I'm not washing all those chemicals, dyes, and petroleum byproducts (yes, that's what's used to make commercial soap) down the drain polluting our waterways.
Why not try some today? Order some or try making your own. Give it as a special gift-get others hooked too.

Hi Greg: I just wanted to let you know that the soap was a huge success - I sold 30 bars in one day! It is just beautiful. I didn't get organized enough after the Moonlight Madness sale to reorder but will after the new year unless there is another moonlight madness - there is talk of having another one. The Green Tea is just beautiful and I haven't had a chance to try the Baby Bar yet - this would be great for a baby gift and of course as you say on the label for babies of all ages.
